Illustrated popular science publication is dedicated to one of the tragic pages of the Stalinist era - the notorious "Leningrad case." The victims of this "case" fabricated by Stalin and his henchmen were not only almost all the party and Soviet leaders of Leningrad, who led the defense of the city during the Great Patriotic War, hundreds of other responsible workers of various levels in Leningrad and other regions of the country, as well as their family members and relatives. It largely led to the transformation of Leningrad into a "great city with a regional fate," and also negatively affected the further fate of the whole country.
