The publication contains clinical guidelines for the most common eye diseases prepared by the Interregional Association of Ophthalmologists of Russia. Clinical guidelines include algorithms for physician actions in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation and allow the physician to make the most informed clinical decisions quickly. Compliance with the international methodology when preparing these clinical guidelines guarantees their modernity, reliability, generalization of the best world experience and knowledge, applicability in practice, which provides advantages over traditional sources of information (textbooks, monographs, guidelines).
