The educational publication, written by teachers of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), outlines the basics of applied organic chemistry of pesticides and growth regulators. Modern methods of industrial organic synthesis of compounds widely used in agriculture, technology and everyday life as bactericides, herbicides, insecticides, antifungal agents and regulators of plant growth and development are considered.
