The seventh volume concludes the multivolume edition of the History of the Socialist Economy of the USSR. The previous volumes summarize the experience of building a socialist society in the Soviet country, creating a new, socialist system of economy, characterize the main stages of its development. This volume analyzes the development of the economy of a mature socialist society, the creation of which is legally enshrined in the new Constitution of the USSR, adopted in October 1977.
