The textbook at the modern level contains the following theoretical and applied sections of maritime navigation: the basics of navigation and marine cartography; modern methods of counting the ship's path, the use of absolute and relative lags; visual location methods; the use of PTCs, including the use of satellite systems and electronic maps, swimming in special circumstances.
