The book consists of five parts: the first part presents the history of the creation, formation and development of the system of militarized mine rescue units; in the second part, a photo essay is given about the present day of mine rescuers; the third part reflects the tasks and functions of the system of militarized mine rescue units of the EMERCOM of Russia; the fourth presents the equipment and technology of mine rescue and the fifth reflects the prospects for the development of mine rescue.
