Mesotherapy is an invasive treatment introduced into medicine in the middle of the last century. The method is based on intradermal or subcutaneous administration of microdoses of drugs both locoregionally and at a distance from the affected compartment, in order to obtain a pharmacological effect (due to the administered drugs), as well as the effect of physical stimulation (acupuncture effect).
