This collection is composed of translations of recent works by R. Tom, B. Malgrange, J. Mezer and other foreign mathematicians. These works are devoted to the theory of features of differentiable maps, which has been actively developing in recent years and has numerous and interesting connections with various sections of modern mathematics.
