The guidelines describe the classification and clinical pharmacology of ophthalmic medicinal products. Typical clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, basic principles and treatment regimens for diseases in ophthalmology with levels of evidence are described. The features of the management of different groups of patients are highlighted, algorithms for the treatment of individual nosological forms are given. Background information facilitating rational individualized drug and regimen selection is widely presented.
