The proposed textbook is one of the first in which an attempt is made to systematically present the history of the Central Rada - the leader of the Ukrainian national liberation movement of 1917, the initiator and organizer of the proclamation of the Ukrainian People's Republic. The activities of the Central Council were short in time, but extremely complex, eventful, marked by political achievements and losses important for our state. The main activities of the UCR are covered, its main documents are placed. In a separate section, a chronicle of the most important events is submitted.
