Analysis of the effect of different groups of pharmacological substances on behavior and different stages of memory. Data on the participation of central cholinergic structures in the mechanisms of emotional behavior and memory are presented. Role in regulation of memory formation process of limbic and ascending reticular activating systems is considered.
