The book in a popular form provides basic information about the thermophysical processes that occur during the wintering of bees in a hive or hollow. The original results of the analysis of the properties of the wasp nest suitable for use in beekeeping are presented. A list of recommendations for self-construction of hives from "improvised materials" is given.
