The first volume of the Collected Works contains poems and poems by Pasternak 1912-1932. The composition and location of the material in the first volume largely correspond to the composition and location of the material in the book: Boris Pasternak. Poems in one volume. Ed. 3rd. Publishing House "Fiction," Leningrad, 1936. But many poems were included that were not included in this volume, and almost half of the poems were given in their later edition. In addition, at the end of the book are given those poems from Pasternak's first collection "Twin in the Clouds," which were not included by the author in the first section of the book "Over Barriers. Poems of different years," ed. 1929 and 1931.
