The textbook includes the history of the countries of Asia and Africa from the early Middle Ages (III century) to the late Middle Ages (XVII century). The development of forms of feudal land ownership and exploitation, the peculiarities of the class struggle, slavery, the social role of religions, the evolution of the system of political domination of the class of feudal lords, the main categories of culture in the Middle Ages and the contribution of the peoples of the East to world culture, the colonial penetration of European powers and its consequences are considered.
