This work is dedicated to the "unusual" battleships of the Royal Navy. Before the outbreak of World War I, large British private shipyards completed the construction of several "super-dreadnoughts" ordered by the governments of Turkey and South American states participating in the local naval arms race, caused by a tangle of deep contradictions between them flavored with the exorbitant ambitions of the governments of these "exotic" countries for leadership in the region and "megalomania." The work is somewhat narrowed in volume compared to the study of this topic by S. B. Trubitsin in his book "Battleships of Secondary Naval Powers" (St. Petersburg, 1998), since we will only talk about three battleships that became part of the British Navy, but expanded in content, describing in more detail the history of their construction and service. The book is aimed at a wide range of readers interested in naval history. The book contains a large number of illustrated photographs.
