The All-Union Party Meeting on Cinematography under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks was held March 15-21, 1928. The meeting was attended by 127 delegates with decisive votes, 64 with deliberative and a number of guests. The meeting heard and discussed reports: comrade Krinitsky "Results of the construction of cinema in the USSR and the tasks of Soviet cinematography"; comrade Shvedchikova "Organizational and economic issues of Soviet cinematography"; comrade Meshcheryakova "Cinema in the village"; Tov. Maltsev "Public and Cinema" and Tov. Smirnova, N. "Print and Cinema."
