The almanac "Ancient Russia in time, in personalities, in ideas" is devoted to the problems of studying the Old Russian past: the history of state and public institutions, the theological and philosophical problems of Old Russian bookishness, various aspects of the structure and activities of the Russian church, the life and work of prominent figures of the Russian Middle Ages, the history of ideas and everyday life. This issue contains a section in which the materials of the conference "Power and Church in Ancient Russia: Events, Personalities, Ideas" are published, in which the editors of the almanac participated as a co-organizer. The almanac is designed for specialists in the field of history, law, theology, philology, students, as well as all those interested in the history of the Fatherland.
