With the involvement of information from various sources in the monograph, the development of the revolutionary crisis in Russia is being rethought, the beginning of which, according to the author, was laid by the February coup of 1917. In his opinion, what happened did not have a distant predetermination. Based on an analysis of a number of facts, it is concluded at the same time that the policies pursued after the October events of 1917 are classified as "red Bonapartism." The definition of what happened as a separate revolution is questioned.
