Three quarters of a century have passed since the departure of the army of General Wrangel from Crimea, but so far neither in Russia nor abroad has a single biographical reference book of the participants in the White movement appeared - even at the regimental level. Of course, brief biographies of the leaders of the White Movement - Generals Kornilov, Alekseev, Denikin, Wrangel, Admiral Kolchak, Generals Yudenich and Miller - have repeatedly appeared in the press, but at the same time even the monumental work of General Denikin - the five-volume Essays on the Russian Troubles - came out without a personal index. A significant step forward is the reference book prepared by N. Rutych.
