The book of the American author examines statistical methods that are important from a practical point of view in economic, sociological and biomedical research. In particular, the problems of assessing relative frequencies, determining the sample size in the analysis of shares and ratios, measuring the degree of agreement of expert opinions, assessing the effectiveness of the methods used, the problem of classification errors by alternative features, their causes and control methods, and some other tasks of analyzing frequency tables were investigated.
