The book is devoted to the study of the military-political aspects of the creation of the so-called Persian Cossack brigade as an instrument of political influence of tsarist Russia in Iran, as well as its place and role in Russian-Iranian relations. The work attempted to highlight the process of creating a brigade against the backdrop of Anglo-Russian rivalry, which influenced the further fate of this military formation.
