The book was written by the staff of the tank design bureau of the Kirov plant in St. Petersburg. She introduces the creative activities of the design bureau of the pre-war, military and post-war periods. According to these periods, the concepts of building armored vehicles and self-propelled artillery installations (self-propelled guns) are presented. The book contains information about the legendary heavy tanks and self-propelled guns during the Great Patriotic War.
