The whole life of Soviet society is now determined by the political course outlined by the XXVII Congress of the CPSU. At a sharp turning point is the whole country, including the school. In the Political Report, the congress gave a principled assessment of the implementation of school reform: its pace and depth cannot satisfy us. It is required to informally approach the tasks set, radically improve the quality of education and upbringing of younger generations, their preparation for socially useful work.
