The book contains some works by foreign authors that use new cybernetic ideas. In particular, the problems of human memory in the light of information theory are considered; the concept of feedback is used to explain the mechanism of a number of reflex reactions, as well as some pathological conditions. A comparison of modern computers and the brain as devices for processing information has been made.
