The chronicle is devoted to the description of historical events in the North Caucasus in the first half of the 19th century: about the actions of Shamil's troops against Russian troops. Since the beginning of the 30s of this century, when Arab sources for the new history of the North Caucasus were first published, it quickly became clear that with a large number of various documents (official papers and letters), a relatively small number of large historical works (such as chronicles or memoirs), the originals of which are known and available.
