The book is dedicated to the history of how the hypothesis of human evolutionary origin asserted itself and received mass recognition. In the course of considering the reasons for the emergence and development of this hypothesis from an absurd idea into pseudoscientific dogma, as well as its dominant position in modern society, many little-known facts are attracted, sometimes leading to very unexpected and interesting conclusions.
