The monograph outlines the main issues and methodological principles for determining visibility in horizontal and non-horizontal directions. Methods for determining visibility, their capabilities and applicability limits, measurement errors and feasibility of initial theoretical positions in real atmosphere conditions are considered. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of vision quality in conditions of homogeneous and heterogeneous atmosphere are reflected.
