The basics of graph theory are outlined, some known problems are discussed. Examples of reducing applied problems to problems of graph theory and using the apparatus of this theory are given. A separate chapter is devoted to combinatorial algorithms related to the search for structural and numerical characteristics of graphs. Each chapter is accompanied by exercises.
