In the monograph, the mythological ideas of the ancient Greeks about fate are studied mainly from the point of view of the poorly developed historical and philosophical problem of the genesis of the categories of law, necessity and chance. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the most important aspects of the conceptual content of ideas about fate, their evolution and the dialectic of their denial in the process of forming the categorical apparatus of the emerging philosophy.
