The textbook describes the basics of designing load-bearing and enclosing structures of single- and multi-storey civil and industrial buildings. Unlike previously published educational literature, the textbook is focused on the training of architects of a wide profile. Systems of bearing frames and arrangement of bearing and enclosing structures from different materials are described with identification of peculiarities of their application in civil and industrial construction.
