The novel "Northern Flame" is shocking. So no one has yet written about the Northern War, which took place mainly on the territory of Belarus, and on behalf of the opponents of Peter I. The view of the war through the eyes of the Belarusians of that time is truly impressive. The book destroys myths, stereotypes, lies and propaganda, shows the events of the beginning of the 18th century not as the eastern and western sovereigns wanted them to be, but as they were for the local nobility and the population as a whole.
