A wine adventure inspired by Jules Verne's novel, a true scientific quest peppered with adventure and a thirst for discovery. The journey begins in London, then we get to France, where two wines (Bordeaux and Burgundy) are fighting for the attention of connoisseurs around the world, and ends in California. On the way, Italy is waiting for us with its wine phenomenon, further along the route Syria and Lebanon with endless bloody wars (but what about wine?), Spain and Portugal, India and Shangri-La, Australia and its famous Shiraz. We will visit Tasmania, where Great Britain brought the most inveterate criminals to serve time in colonial times, and now this place is marked on the map as one of the most interesting wine places where Pinot Noir and Riesling grapes grow. We will visit the most exotic places where grapes are nurtured by whole generations, where even war cannot take away love for winemaking. We'll pick the best wine from every corner of the earth - and don't think it will be easy.
