Advances in the pharmaceutical industry have led to the development of many synthetic medicines, however their use during pregnancy is not desirable and their use is limited. The principle of "primum non nocere" is of particular importance in the treatment of pregnant women. For this reason, it is desirable to use some medicinal plants more widely and systematically in the arsenal of obstetric practice.
