The Rules for the Classification and Construction of Ships of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping have been approved in accordance with the current regulation and come into force on October 1, 2008. This twelfth edition of the Rules was drawn up on the basis of the eleventh edition of 2007, taking into account amendments and additions prepared immediately at the time of reprint.
