"I saw them on the day of the thirtieth anniversary of the Victory - the defenders and prisoners of the Adzhimushkai catacombs. They sat on the crippled land of Adzhimushkay, remembering their comrades who died. Of the many, many thousands survived, twenty-four people miraculously survived.
