The book presents the first textbook in Russian literature on all aspects of modern fish zoogeography. Fish zoogeography is presented on the basis of fish ecology, taking into account their systematics and phylogeny, as well as paleontological and paleoclimatic data. The textbook is intended for undergraduate and graduate students studying ichthyology, as well as for students of biological, geographical and related specialties of universities, agricultural and fisheries universities. The book can be used as a teaching aid in fisheries secondary schools and biological schools, colleges, technical schools with advanced biological education.
