The monograph covers the general structure, cycles, individual elements and semantics of the rituals of Ukrainian workshop artisans of the XV - the first half of the XVII centuries. The rituals of craft technology and the sale of products, holidays in honor of saints, patrons of workshops, workshop initials, customs of the life cycle of artisans are considered. Rites and customs are revealed in an organic connection with the worldview and worldview characteristic of medieval citizens. Shop usefulness is explored in the general context of medieval culture.
