The monograph on the basis of archival documents, memoirs of liquidators presents the contribution of Soviet citizens to the localization and elimination of the Chernobyl disaster. A special place is given to the disclosure of the debt and courage of the liquidators. Significant attention is paid to scientific research on the problems of the post-Chernobyl period.
