The book discusses the hydrodynamics of fuel injection and atomization processes in diesel engines and methods for calculating these processes for various fuel systems. Calculation and experimental material characterizing peculiarities of fuel systems operation and influence of injection process on diesel engine working process is presented. Approximate methods for calculating fuel systems and some prospects for their development are considered.
