The book outlines the principles of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of therapeutically resistant depression (TRD). Mechanisms of formation of therapeutic resistance are described, principles of its prevention, methods of differential diagnostics are explained. The pharmacological properties of antidepressants are described in detail as the most important therapeutic agents in the treatment of depression and, in particular, TRD.
