The task of Christian apologetics is to substantiate the Christian worldview, protect it from attacks and perversions. The opposition of the Christian worldview to worldviews that deny Christianity, Christian principles of life to negative principles is one of the moments in revealing the essence of Christian doctrine. Apologetics, properly understood, is not a simple polemic; it is necessary based on the deep disclosure of the doctrine and proceeds from it. Much of the attack on Christianity is based on distorted ideas about it, perversions of it, and restoring the true meaning of Christian teaching is the best response to them.
