The collection summarizes the study of the relationship between social-perceptual and behavioral components of communication in the process of personality formation. On a specific experimental material, it is proved that the knowledge of other people regulates the methods and motives of the behavior of the knowing subject, the generalization of which is the basis for the formation of communicative abilities and character traits.
