The tutorial covers the main types of relay protection and automation devices for the elements of power supply systems of industrial enterprises: high-voltage lines, transformers and electric motors, device diagrams and their operation. For the purpose of in-depth study of theoretical material on most elements of power supply systems, examples of relay protection calculation were performed.
