Recently, the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) released a manual for teachers entitled "The Doctrine of Evolution and the Nature of Science." It was distributed throughout America so that teachers could include more classes in the theory of evolution in the curriculum and teach the doctrine of evolution "from molecule to person" as a scientific fact. The purpose of this publication is defined in the preface to it: Many students have too limited horizons in terms of the most important theory in modern biological science, the theory necessary to understand the key facts in the existence of living beings - the theory of biological evolution.
