The monograph provides a comprehensive description of the semantic and syntactic structure of the sentence and its parts. The analysis of syntactic phenomena is largely based on the principle of transposition. The study is carried out in the context of fundamental concepts of modern semantics and syntax with a distinction between the deep and surface spheres of the studied object. The book uses materials from Russian and other languages ​ ​ of a wide variety of typologies.
