The theme of this book is grandiose for. XVII century military conflict - the Khotyn war of 1621 between the Ottoman Empire and the Commonwealth. Based on historical sources, the political factors that caused the Battle of Tsetsor 1620 p. Are outlined, as well as its course. Attention was paid to Polish-Zaporizhzhya relations in the context of preparations for the Turkish war. The structure and strength of the Ottoman army, Polish-Lithuanian forces, as well as the troops of Zaporizhzhya Cossacks are considered. The date of the beginning of the Khotyn war was set, both the naval phase of this war and its land hostilities, primarily unfolding in the fall of 1621 near Khotyn, were covered in detail.
