The monograph examines the history of the Russian state emblem in the aspect of the evolution of its most significant elements, details and emblems and general compositional construction throughout the X? -XX centuries. An analysis of the most significant transformations of both the state emblem as a whole and its components and their interpretations is carried out depending on the cultural historical and ideological context of the era. The relationships and mutual influences of the stylistic features of the image of the state emblem and its semantics are revealed.
