This publication, carried out by a branch of the famous Harper-Collins publishing house, introduces the English-speaking public to the texts of the so-called Nag Hammadi Library. The editor-in-chief of this publication is James McConkey Robinson, an emeritus professor at Claremont University in California, one of the most famous researchers of the Nag Hammadi texts and the gospel source Q. In this edition, Robinson collected translations into English of the Gnostic texts of Nag Hammadi and some other works. The first edition was in 1977, this is the third edition of the book.
