The training manual "Protection measures and actions of the population in natural and man-made emergencies" discusses the general characteristics of emergency situations, their sources, causes and mechanisms of implementation; main emergency classifications are given; the structure and specifics of the functioning of the RSChS are discussed; algorithms of population actions in conditions of implementation of specific natural and man-made emergency situations are given.
