This brochure is intended for personnel who have to deal with the installation of electric meters and accounting for electricity in industry, agriculture, construction. The arrangement of meters and measuring transformers is briefly described, schemes for switching on meters for both design and control (technical) electricity metering are given. Recommendations are given on the selection of meters and measuring transformers and the installation of meters, safety rules are given for the installation and operation of meters. In conclusion, the following was considered: determination of electricity consumption according to the readings of meters working with measuring transformers, determination of loads according to the readings of meters and drawing up a load schedule.
